The Ginza Line will be out of service between Shibuya and Omote-sando Station and between Aoyama-itchome and Tameike-sanno Station
Tokyo Metro (Head Office in: Taito Ward, Tokyo; President: Akiyoshi Yamamura) will be suspending service all day on the Ginza Line between Shibuya and Omote-sando Station and between Aoyama-itchome and Tameike-sanno Station for the three-day period between Thursday, May 3 (national holiday) and Saturday, May 5, 2018 (national holiday) due to line switching construction to accompany the relocation of Shibuya Station on that line.
On the days of construction, shuttle service will be offered between Omote-sando and Aoyama-itchome Stations and between Tameike-sanno and Asakusa Station. Substitute transportation will also be offered using Tokyo Metro, the Toei Subway, JR, and various private railways.
Tokyo Metro apologizes for the considerable convenience this will cause passengers who use the Ginza Line, and hopes for their understanding and cooperation with regards to this matter.
