In preparation for the launch of "Tokyo Metro Academy" online courses for railway professionals around the world, Tokyo Metro will be holding "free online courses."

Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. (Head Office in: Taito Ward, Tokyo; President: Akiyoshi Yamamura; "Tokyo Metro" below) will be holding the first "free online courses" in June 2021 in preparation for the launch of "Tokyo Metro Academy," a series of paid online courses for railway professionals around the world for sharing our experience in railway operation and so forth.

Through its operation of subways that have underpinned safe, stable high-density transport in urban transit, Tokyo Metro has built up experience and knowledge in a wide range of fields, including passenger railway operation and maintenance and the development of related businesses.

The purpose of the "Tokyo Metro Academy" is to share Tokyo Metro's efforts, experience, achievements, expertise, and so forth in various fields related to urban railway operation with people involved in railways around the world so they can utilize that shared information in their future work.

This will be a great opportunity for participants to gain a broad understanding of Tokyo Metro's distinctive efforts. Each course day will allow time for discussions and Q&A, and participants' questions will be answered not only by course speakers but also by Tokyo Metro's experts in each field.

Tokyo Metro hopes to keep making "Tokyo Metro Academy" better alongside its participants, and awaits the participation of people involved in railways around the world.

For details on the free online courses, how to apply for participation, and other information, please refer to the attached sheet.
