launched for railway professionals around the world

 

　　　Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd (Head office: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Akiyoshi Yamamura; hereinafter "Tokyo Metro") will hold Tokyo Metro Academy, "Online training course" and "Training in Tokyo" for worldwide railway professionals. The courses will be further expanded from last year to introduce the know-how and experience Tokyo Metro has cultivated to achieve safe and stable operation on urban railway.

　Online courses: Holding 25 courses in sequence from May 2025

　Training in Tokyo: Classroom lectures and site visits to Tokyo Metro facilities in September and October 2025 (3 days each)

　　　From FY2021 to FY2024, a total of 433 people from 22 countries participated in online courses and onsite training, showing a high level of interest in our initiatives.

　　　Tokyo Metro Academy 2025-2026 will expand the number of online courses from 18 to 25, and they will be offered in two ways: additional new pre-recorded courses that can be viewed anytime and live courses. The onsite training course "Training in Tokyo" will continue to include classroom lectures and site visits to various actual Tokyo Metro facilities.

　　　We will continue to hold the Tokyo Metro Academy to meet the various needs of railway professionals worldwide and contribute to the sustainable development of cities around the world by supporting the development of local transportation services.
