Measures to Prevent the Spreading of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Tokyo Metro is currently implementing measures to help prevent the spreading of the coronavirus, starting with the use of masks by its employees.

Passengers on Tokyo Metro lines are also asked to help prevent infection through measures such as washing their hands, disinfecting their hands with alcohol and being mindful of their manner when coughing, as well as by practicing staggered commuting to work or school, telecommuting or otherwise avoiding the use of Tokyo Metro lines during rush hour. Passengers who will use Tokyo Metro lines during rush hour are asked to be understanding and cooperative with regard to opening the windows of train cars in order to ventilate their interior.
