The 333-meter symbol of Tokyo. Completed in 1958, Tokyo Tower has two observatories, the main observatory at 150 meters and the special observatory at 250 meters, offering views of Mt. Fuji, Mt. Tsukuba and of the Tokyo metropolis. It also has several amusement spots including an aquarium and restaurants. Live concerts on Wednesday and Thursday nights are offered in the observatory and nighttime illuminations attract many visitors. Tokyo Tower is a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
