The section between Shirokane-takanawa and Meguro on the Namboku Line is used together with the Mita Line of Toei Subway. Therefore, the calculation for that section is as follows.

Tickets purchased for the section between Shirokane-takanawa, Shirokanedai and Meguro can be used on either the Tokyo Metro or Toei Subway. When traveling further than the three stations in this section, the fare is due for the company that operates that line, so please buy a ticket keeping that in mind.
