Tokyo Subway Ticket

This ticket offers one to three consecutive days of unlimited rides on all Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines.

Price Tokyo Subway 1-Day Ticket – Adult: 800 yen, Child: 400 yen
Tokyo Subway 2-Day Ticket – Adult: 1,200 yen, Child: 600 yen
Tokyo Subway 3-Day Ticket – Adult: 1,500 yen, Child: 750 yen
Valid period

Tokyo Subway 1-Day Ticket: Valid for one day within the expiry date stated on the ticket
Tokyo Subway 2-Day Ticket: Valid for two consecutive days within the expiry date stated on the ticket
Tokyo Subway 3-Day Ticket: Valid for three consecutive days within the expiry date stated on the ticket
Valid routes Valid on all Tokyo Metro lines and all Toei Subway lines

Please exchange the coupon tickets issued by travel agencies at station offices located in major Tokyo Metro stations (Tokyo Station, Shinjuku Station, Shimbashi Station, Ueno Station, etc.) or at the information centers located in B1 of Haneda Airport Domestic Passenger Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

At Haneda and Narita Airports, the Tokyo Subway Ticket is only sold to overseas visitors who can produce passports with tourist visas. Please note that Japanese citizens cannot purchase the Tokyo Subway Ticket at these airports no matter where they live.
For visitors residing outside the Kanto region (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma and Yamanashi prefectures), please purchase the ticket from one of the travel agencies listed above before the trip.

4. Tokyo Metro Pass Offices

Tokyo Metro Pass Offices only sell Tokyo Subway Tickets to people who use JR Central’s Express Services (either “Express Yoyaku” or “Plus EX”) for Shinkansen departing from stations between Atami and Hakata bound for Tokyo and Shinagawa Stations.

Pass Offices at Tokyo and Shimbashi Stations

The conditions of purchase are as follows:
- Only sold to people who use JR Central’s Express Services for Shinkansen departing from stations between Atami and Hakata bound for Tokyo and Shinagawa stations.
- Please show your IC Express Ticket (“IC go-riyou-hyou zaseki-no-go-annai”) or Non-IC Express Ticket (“go-riyou-hyou”) to Tokyo Metro Pass Office staff at Tokyo Station or Shimbashi Station to purchase a Tokyo Subway Ticket. For users of IC Express Service, your Express Ticket will be issued from the Shinkansen ticket gate upon entry. For users of Non-IC Express Service, your Express Ticket will be issued from Reserved Seating Ticket Machine.

  • *If you use a Non-IC Express Ticket, the number of Tokyo Subway Tickets that can be purchased depends on the number of people stated on the ticket.
  • *Tokyo Subway Tickets will only be sold to people with IC or Non-IC Express Tickets issued up to 2 days beforehand.
  • *Upon purchase, your IC or Non-IC Express Ticket will be marked to show that it has been used to purchase a Tokyo Subway Ticket. Also, one IC or Non-IC Express Ticket can only be used to purchase Tokyo Subway Tickets once.
  • *Tokyo Subway Tickets can only be purchased using cash.
