Disclosure Policy

Policy

In order to ensure management transparency, Tokyo Metro will endeavor to enhance its internal systems to ensure timely, accurate and fair disclosure of information from the perspective of all stakeholders, and will take a sincere stance on timely and appropriate disclosure of information to all stakeholders.

Reference

Tokyo Metro shall disclose necessary information based on relevant laws and regulations such as the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the regulations on timely disclosure, etc. stipulated in regulations on listing securities on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as the "Timely Disclosure Rules"). We will also actively disclose any information that we consider to be useful to stakeholders in understanding our company, even if it does not fall under one of the above-mentioned categories.

Disclosure Method

Information that requires disclosure based on the Timely Disclosure Rules will be disclosed through the Timely Disclosure Network (TDnet), which is operated by the Tokyo Stock Exchange. After disclosure on TDnet, the same information will also promptly be posted to the Tokyo Metro website.

In addition, even if disclosure is not required under the Timely Disclosure Rules, we will disclose information if it is deemed desirable, and will do so as fairly and broadly as possible by posting it on the Tokyo Metro website, etc.

About Silent Periods

In order to prevent the leakage of financial information and to ensure fairness, Tokyo Metro has set a silent period from the day following the end of the fiscal year (including the end of the quarter) to the announcement of financial results. During this period, we will refrain from answering questions or commenting on our financial results.

However, if it is expected that the earnings forecast will change significantly during this period of silence, we will disclose information as appropriate in accordance with the Timely Disclosure Rules.
