Expected Environmental Improvements | The introduction of state-of-the-art control systems will reduce power consumption and contribute to clean transportation when compared to the existing vehicles (Marunouchi Line 02 series). In addition, the new vehicles will be equipped with an emergency battery that can be used to drive to the nearest station in the event of a power outage due to weather disasters, etc., for improved adaption to climate change.
