PASMO/Tickets

Multi-functional Ticket Machine

  • Purchase of tickets, new or renewed passes, and recharge of PASMO, etc. are available at pink-colored automatic ticket machines installed at a ticket office of Tokyo Metro Stations.
  • The point service for To Me CARD members is also available.
  • Credit cards are accepted to purchase passes.
  • *1PASMO is the registered trademark of PASMO Co., ltd.
  • *2Except Kita-senju(Hibiya Line), Naka-meguro, Nakano, Yoyogi-uehara, Wakoshi Stations, and Shibuya(Hanzomon Line/Fukutoshin Line) and Meguro Stations.
  • *3Please note that the purchase of new passes and use of Metro Point Club services are not available at Nishi-Funabashi Station.

Type of Passes Available with Multi-functional Ticket Machine

New Passes

Commuter Railway Pass/Tokyo Metro All-line Pass for adults are available for purchase.

  • *1Student Railway Pass and Child Commuter Pass are available at Pass Offices & Pass Inquiry. We apologize in advance for this.
  • *2Only renewal of Passes are available at Nishi-funabashi Station.
Renewed Passes

Commuter Railway Pass/Tokyo Metro All-line Pass/Student Pass are available for purchase.

  • The renewed Student Railway Pass and the Child Commuter Pass can be purchased when the period is extended within the fiscal year (from April 1 to March 31 of the next year). However, it may not be available for purchase when the expiration date across April 30 of the new fiscal year.

Using Credit Card

The following credit cards are accepted to purchase a pass:
You need your PIN to use a card. Only a one-time payment is accepted.
The credit cards are available at Tokyo Metro Pass Offices & Pass Inquiry.

Notes on Purchase of Passes for Hanzomon Line/Fukutoshin Line

Tokyo Metro Line has two routes in parallel within some zones, however, you are asked to decide and select your desired route to purchase a pass of Hanzomon Line between "Shibuya" and "Nagatacho" or Fukutoshin Line between "Wakoshi" and "Ikebukuro".

If a Wrong Pass (e.g., Wrong Zone or Valid Period) is Purchased:

If you notice that you purchased a pass with a wrong zone or valid period, push a Call Button on the ticket machine or consult a station attendant at your nearest gate. We will proceed to refund the pass. We may guide you to proceed to the Pass Offices & Pass Inquiry depending on your purchase status. We apologize in advance for this.

However, refund will be available according to our policies at the Pass Offices & Pass Inquiry if a claim is other than that immediately after the purchase as shown above (if you passed through a gate).
